Haha yeah. I strapped a bungie cord and limped it home as it was a 10 minute drive. Thankfully the other strap didn't let go.

Dan, you didn't replace the throw out bearing when you did the clutch? You should get cock slapped.

lol of course I did. but with my clutch issue it trashed it pretty good from not disengaging correctly and getting stuck. Oh well.

I don't see how shifter bushings would cause a throw out bearing to get trashed.

because if the car isn't going into gear properly and the t/o bearing doesn't retract all the way when it does in fact go into gear because of air in the clutch line and the shifter bushings not seating the forks correctly.. it gets trashed... lol

I'll most likely just upgrade to an LSD trans in the Spring and be good to go.

It still should retract all the way, that is why there is a spring on the fork.

Dan, I think you need someone else to drive the car and get an opinion on it.

sounds like a plan lol....

not to mention the fact that when I let off the clutch in neutral the car bogs like there is load on the car.... possibly a pressure plate issue... who knows. poop on my face.

How fas are you releasing the clutch? This sounds more of an internal issue with the transmission rather than the pressure plate.
