And we're looking at a property right now. I'm not interested, he is. It's a store with 2 apartments above it. It's cheap, but it's not THAT cheap.

you don't win big if you don't risk big

if the two of you are in a position to give it a shot, go for it... you can probably get someone from TST to take the apartment, and who knows which of the shops on here could use the space...

I agree with the risk big statement too, but they may have too much to loose out of the deal. I mean all that said it sounds like a great investment if you can at least get the shop occupied.

no offense to either of them... but they're living with Julz parents... it doesn't sound like they've got much to lose if they can afford to take the risk now. If i was living at home still i'd def be trying to buy a rental prop... those are the best
