well the car seems to be ok. code hasn't come back.

ours is friday I believe, I'm not going, it's an hour and a half from my house, I'd be doing 5 hours of driving on the friday before christmas. No thanks.

I haven't heard anything about a Christmas party this year. Hoping we don't have one, haha. Last year we had it at one of the boss's homes. Had dinner then had a frickin game night sorta thing. It was awkward, lol.

Curious here, had my Miata up for trade on craigslist (thanks to the pending baby boy on the way

) and was offered a 2003 Altima however it has 171k on the odometer! looks pretty clean inside and out including the motor. anyone know much about these once they hit this mark?

my daily is a 99 altima that just crossed over 200k this past week. Long as compression is good and you keep up on easy maintenance, they last a long time. I would take a look at the motor mounts though, they tend to rot out. Had to replace my passenger side motor mount. They all seem to also suffer from fading headlights. No matter what you do. I have wet sanded mine several times and they always start fading again and going dim. I just got an HID kit for it to bring the light level back up and not worry about it anymore.

Other than that, not much has gone wrong with mine. Just give it a good check over and get all the easy stuff like plugs, wires, distributor, compression check, change all fluids, etc...and you should be fine

My GMC has 166k on it, its a 2000 and runs like a champ. Just did the heater core and have to do ball joints, but a solid truck for the winter and I couldn't beat the price with a stick.. $1400

And on a seperate note, got picked up part time at the pep boys on 202 in New castle today. Got my part time job with school, should be set!

They had smoked sausage with Bacon in it. Was really good. Off to Firebirds for my work Christmas party. Gonna have a good poo this afternoon.
