Been a while since I updated this. Not much going on. Currently waiting for PSI PRO to get me an invoice and gather all my goodies together for a custom front mount, which is one of 3 things I want to get done this year. Hopefully can set up an install date in 2 weeks. Front mount should add some more power and hopefully give me the car much better response.
Just ordered a new MTX-L Innovate Wideband, a Pro Sport Digital Boost Gauge, and 2 swivel pods. Those are my Christmas presents to myself. Following the IC upgrade, will be the custom clutch upgrade. Eventually I'll stop being lazy and order an OEM clutch set so I can have it upgraded. By the time that is done it will be Spring and time to get me some new wheels, which is the last thing I really want to do this year. At that point, the car should be maxed out on what the stock fuel system and turbo can handle, and then I will begin planning and saving for the following year. I am going to try and see after the IC upgrade if I can get the car to hit 250WHP on the stock fuel setup and stock turbo. It's a long shot but I don't think it is impossible, probably not safe lol. So yea, hoping to get to the shop on the 12th to get the intercooler all fabbed up and installed. Oh and in other news, while in the city like 2 weeks ago, some jerkoff in her Jeep Cherokee yapping on her cell phone decided to rear end tap the Juke in stop dead traffic. In a fit of rage I got out of the car and "This is Sparta" kicked in her grill. My foot hurt for 2 days. The damage is small but it went all the way through the paint so it is enough to piss me off royally because it won't be a cheap fix despite the size. Using a dime for size scale:

I wasn't even thinking about repercussions, I was in a rage when I saw she was on her cell phone when it happened. Stopped dead traffic and on your phone and you hit me? Really?

Prosport Digital Boost Gauge and Innovate MTX-L wideband arrived yesterday. They are going to look pretty when they get installed (hopefully at the end of the month). Also got my invoice and set up a shop date for the front mount for the 26th. I can't wait to get rid of the stock intercooler. I just hate the way it looks. So I am really looking forward to watching the guys at PSI PRO work their magic on my Juke once again.
From what Travis has sent me we are going overkill with the setup so I don't have to worry about upgrading it ever again. 600HP (My goal is 400 for the Juke) core, V-mount style, all custom piping 2.5 inch, vanjen clamp setup (Good God these things aren't cheap, but I promised myself when I bought the car that I wasn't going to go cheap on anything). It's looking like it might take more then one trip to get this job complete, but you never know. |

I was wondering the same thing lol. If I were to have a problem with the Prosport I bought, I think the Autometer digital gauge would be the next one I try. It is a very simple design that I king of dig. It's twice as much as the Prosport one though, but I knew it would be more money.

Yea luckily I use my cobb accessport for tuning, but still it's annoying watching my boost gauge struggling to get to 18psi when I know I'm boosting 21+

Was supposed to get my front mount and some other **** done tomorrow but the flu has other plans. Pretty pissed about that. Maybe next week though.
In other upgrade news, ill be doing a BBK sooner then later. 370z 4 pots are bolt ons just need a special spacer to clear the LCA. Rear 2 pots fit 100%. I can get reman calipers pretty cheap too. All in all should be around 1000$ for a full 370z sport upgrade. |
