Let me know will, i have everything for it and i'll give you a deal on it. I just bought a brand new fit kit for it.

Thanks to Troll's idea, and pot, and with my dad's help in perfecting my template, I made myself a turbo heatshield today.
I made some adjustments from the way Bryan did it. Since my engine bay is a lot more cluttered than Troll's (thank you Subaru),
I didn't want to have to remove the turbo everytime i wanted to remove the heatshield. So instead of drilling holes to bolt the shield
to the turbine housing, I made slots for the heatshield to simply slide behind the loosened bolts. When the turbine housing bolts are
then tightened, it holds the heatshield firmly in place. No rattling can be seen at idle, and no rattling can be heard under load!

I'll bead the edge after the autoshow when i have more time. For now, I think it looks pretty sick and it
definitely serves its purpose of hiding the ugly turbine housing. Oh, and for shielding heat, of course. lol.

nice! i actually had to slot my center hole because i can't take that bolt out fully without taking like 800 other things off first. i was able to take out the 2 side bolts completely though so i only had to slot 1 out of 3. looks good, hopefully it didnt take as long as mine did, my harbor freight cut off wheel air tool is to blame for that though... hardly had the torque to cut super thin stainless

It took me about 45 min to find the right diameter holesaw in the garage, then about 10 minutes to find the right
guide bit for it, then about 5 min to drill the 3 1/4" hole. Then it took me about 10 minutes to cut out the rest of
the heatshield, then about 3 mins to make the slots. I put it on and took it off 4 or 5 times before I got it to fit
how I wanted it. I had to trim a little bit on the left side to get around the one bolt so that it would fit as snug
as possible. The hardest part of doing this was making the template and determining where I wanted the slots
to be on the template. First i used grease, then chalk, then finally just used graphite from a pencil to coat the bolts
to make my marks in the template for the slots.

haha yeah the biggest thing for me was how to drill the bolt holes in the right places. i actually just kind of eyed the first one up, then used the 2 half circle brackets to determine where the other 2 holes should go after that. luckily it worked out pretty well.
i didnt have a hole saw, i just traced the template and used my cut off wheel, then used my die grinder and a carbide bit to shape and smooth everything by hand... haha. no wonder it took me so long.

Troll, you think Bill's template will work on my turbo? I think his looks cut to about where I would want mine. I am just hoping garrett has standard bolt holes and my 1.06 turbine housing isn't going to affect how it fits.

I am surprised you aren't going with some triple gold plated heatshield.
