He is choaking that cam without headers. I bet he could take off .1-.3 easy with a cheap set of long tubes. Thats the first power mod I would do on an NA build.

Absolutely and I agree with you on that line of enjoyable versus not. I think for a new edge, 11/low 12 is a great running car while still being enjoyable and streetable.

For some reason I kind of like the way the 3v's sound. I dont know why. I really like the sound of the Roush Extreme system. Add in some cams and I love it.

That's true on the street at normal street speeds, but on the highway more power can mean a ton more fun ;) I could easily use another 200HP.

Oh and regarding power, now that it's cold out I actually believe my m3 puts out 350HP. It didn't in the hot summer that's for sure, but now it hauls serious ass. I need an aftercooler so it doesn't have to pull timing so badly in the summer.

I'd love to have a 10 second street car haha. the base ls3 can run high 11's stock. i'd probably see 10's with what i eventually want to do, break 500rwhp. which is easy to do with cams, headers, exhaust, and tune. kapow

Ford V8s all sound better then the rest... but the 2/4 is works better then the 3. It pissed me off so much with my Mustang LOL

Jim, can you make a forum section that only awesome memebers can get into and view? It would be cool to enjoy a place where only people that actually know a little something about cars can post. Maybe actual technical discussions could happen.
