pay anything you can off as soon as you can to avoid paying extra interest. if you have extra cash sitting around and you have debt, definitely use it to pay some of the debt down, otherwise you'll be paying a lot of unnecessary interest and it could cost you a whole lot more in the long run.

I don't have any interest on any credit cards for a year... so I'm good in that area for now. But once December rolls in (and I lose my interest free stuff), I should have enough money to pay off both credit cards with no problem.

not trying to tell you something you already know but i feel like a lot of people don't really understand how to most efficiently get themselves out of debt and i hate to see them not make any progress on it.
are you paying the minimums though? keep your credit score in good standing!

Not a problem at all.

I just want it all paid off so I can be done with it! I'm tired of saving money for my stupidity in the past. Silly credit card companies allowing me a $4,000 credit limit as an 18 year old girl.

Duck. When my gf was with her ex, he stole her card and she was stuck with paying the bill. A lot of interest on that card. Then also a $21k car loan left to pay. And then she took out another loan which she is almost done paying off. She was dumb.

OH man, that blows. For real. Yikes. Ouch. I would NOT be happy if I were here. What a freaking tool of an ex.

I put down $13k when I bought my car, so I only have a $8k loan, which isn't bad at all. I only have like $6k left too and I've only had the car a year.

I have 3 credit cards. Discover, Mastercard and Visa. Discover and Visa are both at $2500 so I am not putting anything more on them until they are paid off. Mastercard has nothing on it cause I'm a good girl.

i only have one card... 1k limit with maybe 250 on it. i don't like credit cards... other than the car i don't have any debt. though, one of the reasons my credit isn't so hot is because i have one card...

I got my car loan $18500, bike $3000 , and credit card $2000. I paid off my student loans.

I don't have any school loans. Just credit card debt. My boyfriend absolutely hates it though. He paid his ex's credit card off when they were together. I told him he'll never do that for me because that's the most selfish thing ever. I would NEVER ask him to do that for me. I'm a big girl... I can take care of myself. His ex is a gold-digger for sure.

Yeah she wasn't happy and couldn't do anything about it. It was one that I think had like no limits either. I was like and you didn't try to get him to pay for any of this? Her loans aren't just screwing her over but US over too, especially if she wants a house late next year.

I have a $2500 limit on Mastercard which I owe maybe about $800 on.
