how was it a few years ago? it's nuts during summer, i'm surprised theres always as big a turnout as there is when it's like 30 degrees out

It used to be really good and now i don't even like coming out. I used to be out every thursday and sunday weather permitting and now i haven't been out on a thursday in over a year and sundays are a waste most of the time now to. I'm not saying it isn't packed but the quality of people and cars is horrible now. Way to many ricers, druggies, thugs, and fake unintelligent people out there anymore.
On top of that the cops have stepped up their game and won't let you sit stopped anywhere anymore. We use to get kicked out from time to time but it wasn't as bad as now. I can't blame them though since they are just trying to do what they thinks best in the situation

I would say back in 2001/2002 time the NE car stuff was really happening. Imagine your typical sunday nights that you know of x's 3-4. There would be people meeting up at different spots all over the Northeast. Getting gas was great b/c people never bitched out and did their thing. There were plenty of 10,11,12 sec cars out and about. People hung out till 2am shooting the sh*t with people they didnt even know. Ahhhh the good ol' days.

I can even bring it back to the late 90's but no need to show my age...LOL.
