Yea she is so much fun, a real head turner now. Not your average Juke. It took some time but the car is really coming along now. I wanted to Auto X this weekend, but my Cusco brace won't be in, and my shop that does alignments won't have updated software for their machine until next week so I can't whip it around right now.

Been talking with Falcon Clutches in Deer Park, NY and it looks like I am going to have them upgrade an OEM clutch for me. They should be able to build me something that holds around 400HP, which is right around where I want to be. The owner definitely knows his stuff, and his prices were very fair.
I figure I'll have one built during the winter and break it in the beginning of Spring. I figure I'll have PSI PRO install it for me since they love my car so much, and while I am at it, let them build me a sweet front mount IC setup. Seeing their custom front mounts made me drool. Screw the over priced upgrades coming out for the Juke (GTM, Forge, Spearco), I liked what I saw at PSI PRO. I'd rather pay more something much nicer. As much as I want to upgrade the turbo after the clutch and IC, I am more concerned with a plastic intake manifold. That will be next on my list to eliminate, but no one has shown any interest in making an after market one, so that shall be another custom project. Not sure who I am going to enlist to tackle that one though. |

It's just a way to cheap out, and now one more thing I have to worry about failing, which means one more thing I have to spend money on to upgrade sooner then I would have liked too.
I took the Juke off roading... inadvertently on Saturday lol. I went apple picking with a bunch of friends and my girl, and the roads were a little rough and pretty muddy. I got stuck once on a muddy hill, but somehow manged to free myself. I don't ever plan on doing it again, despite it being a lot of fun. The Juke got a little muddy, but enjoyed a bath on Sunday. Maybe if it was AWD and not lowered I'd enjoy off roading a bit more. Or even not lowered and FWD with a LSD I'd consider it. Good thing I only dropped it 2 inches, and more and I would have had serious problems. |

My co-worker just got one too. The top of the line Turbo model. They look okay I guess for a Kia. I hate the calipers though. Why are only the Caliper brackets painted red? It looks so stupid lol.
