After a long seven months of being laid off...I was hired today with For Life Products as their new Studio Assistant. No more interviews and thanks but no thanks replies from human resource departments. Good luck to everyone still out of work and looking hard, stay persistent it will pay off eventually.

I'm still looking for a decent job. I guess i cant complain too much as i do have 2 jobs currently, but i want 1 real job, not two part times.

saving(disappeared fast), my stocks portfolio(no where near as strong as it used to be), a little unemployment, and reducing my social life to next to nil. I am definitely in a hole and a lot of my plans before I was laid off have been suspended for at least a year or two, but I am alive and employed and that is all I need at the moment...

I have a perma-grin on my face for the past 2hrs since I got the call from my new employer. I cant wait to work my ass off and show this company that I am worth even more than what I am starting off at
