Off the bat, the ECU is getting flashed with Opensource. This is to get the car running and driving for the break in period, and be safe to open her up with once its all broken in, but it wont be the setup's potential. Once its well broken in, and ive gotten used to it, its going to EFIlogics Dyno.

WINNING. Depending on when you go to EFI let me know. My best friend just moved literally down the street so I want to take the trip over winter break anyway. I also agree with Troll the open source will make you happy. The standalone is great but since you already did all the wiring and there are some really good open source tuners like EFI Logics you should be happy. I expect to see 400whp on that dyno lol.

boy does everyone around here always get so ass hurt if there isnt always some sort of ass kissing goig on i wasnt saying it to be a dick, for your info ive built plenty from cars to bikes to trucks to tractor trailers , I dont feel i need to tell the world what i do i do it for me not everyone else . And ther isnt really a nice way to post this without being a dick or sounding like one but the op is taking it somewhere to be swapped and modded so what did he build? But whatever nice ride have fun with it have a good holiday

While you do have a point here about me not actually building the motor myself, let me set a few pointers straight for the record. -Im a former honda mechanic. I worked at a dealer for awhile. Ive always been into cars. You could blindfold me and i could literally change a clutch or motor in a matter of hours with handtools and no motor lift. Their easy and fun cars to learn on for any begginer. -Subarus are new territory for me. Ive spent countless hours each night for months upon months, behind a computer on nasioc, RS25, Forester.org, ect ect... Doing extensive research on HOW to swap the car, what works and what doesnt work. Ive done my homework. Ive put my time in. Ive chosen and purchased the majority of the parts going into this build based on what my power goals are, of course with some advice along the way to ponder on. -By no means do i trust my own ability to build a subaru motor. Its out of my league. There are just times when you have to admit your own limits. I want it done right, so im letting a friend of mine who works at the shop do it for me. Ive been there the whole way as its been assembled from the ground up. He is very knowledgable and is teaching/quizzing me on every little thing going on, as he assembles it. Its how you learn. -There is no definitive DIY for the wiring of this project. Certain talented individuals are out there (Zephyr being one of them) who can take ____ year motor and make it work with ____ year car, confindently. I have yet to come upon an explanation (DIY writeup) other than swapping JDM EJ20 motors into RS's, for the swapping of the USDM Sti motor into a forester. This gets complicated. My whole dash will be coming out, and droves of wires will be re-spliced in just about every way imaginable from what i was told... not something i want to dive headfirst into and 'learn' on my own. Id rather sit at the sidelines and watch/assist. -I work 60+ hours per week, 12 hours a night or day depending on my shift rotation. Often time this is on weekends too... I have a life outside work and cars, and just dont have the time like i used to anymore. I spend it with my other half or friends and family. Its just how life is sometimes. I do miss having wrenching time on my own. Your entitled to your opinion in every way, shape and form, just like anyone else on a public automotive forum. I respect that much. You have youself a good holiday as well.
