Installed my own cam, springs, and tuned it myself. I normally do my own fluids, filter, brakes, ect... but the cam was my biggest project.

Make sure you install a remote bleeder and SS clutch lines while your there. Let me know when you do it because I'm not too far from needing a clutch myself. Wouldn't hurt to help with one first.

Ive done a bunch of motor swaps in various cars, hondas, vw's, dsm's (more DSM dwaps than I care to think about). I guess the thing I'm most proud of is assumbling a motor from the shortblock up, and getting it in and running in a day. I'd like to assemble a shortblock, but I dont think I'm ready for that just yet. Ive got motorswaps down pat though.

Really the things I'm the most proud of are things where I'm diagnosing a problem that has me COMPLETELY stumped. Working on my gf's car recently I had to change her power transistor module (didnt even know what that was when i began) as well as the alternator, engine temp sensor, plugs, wires, oil, filter, fuel pump, fuel pump relay, multi-switch, and a laundry list of other things. Id fix one thing, it'd run for 50 miles, and something else would break. Typical DSM.

Everything that is done to both of my cars. Latest would be a 5-speed swap.

Got my first car, drove it for about a month, pulled the engine out and rebuilt it completely, put it back in, fired up first try with no adjustments needed.. All by myself with no prior experience :D..

Lets see….I will leave out the small bs stuff and just focus on the bigger things.

Back in 1993 when I was 15 I started my first project I bought a 1982 Chevy s10 from the state of PA it was yellow. I striped it down to the frame and wirebrushed and painted the entire frame. I then prepped the body and had my dads friend paint it for me. I built a chevy 305 and a turbo 350 trans and swapped that into the truck. Back then they did not have motor mount kits, headers or anything like that. I welded up the motor mounts and with the help of my father made the headers. From there the truck evolved. I built crazy stereo systems, then built a new 350 motor with a lot more power.

In 1997 I took a fiero and swapped in a 3.8 liter supercharged motor, did all the wiring and fabrication on that project.

Then I got into Hondas. Back in 2000 I built my first 92 hatch and swapped in an ls motor which I then turboed the car made 314hp and had one of the first aem systems in the car. I taught myself how to tune, trouble shoot the aem system. The car was then stolen.

I built another turbo Honda my current race car. So far I have went through a bunch of motors, rebuilt them, heads, trans, entire wiring harness, solid motor mounts, fuel system, and the list goes on and on.

Since I have bought my house I have been learning all the domesticated things and how to do them so the car projects have been put on hold.

Used to build my own cars. Did a turbo civic and a 323GTX years ago.

Only thing I have never done is build my own motors. I've always been nervous about opening up the motor.

I haven't done much on my car, I haven't had it long. But I was really pumped when I upgraded the fork springs, fork oil, and rear shock on my SV650 in a day. The new suspension bits made it a completely different bike.
