I get stuff like this all the time. I guess it's always assumed i have a wrx because i get all kinds of people trying to race me. I don't mind it though because it makes me appreciate having a "fast looking" car.

Eh, it's the fast & furious world we live in...The trick is to not look at them. Ignore them, if you look at them they win.

Plus working on a car in a mall parking lot is asking for it...

ill admit im one of those idiots sometimes.. but not in a public parking lot, usually on a empty highway or a backroad ill drive "quickly" if i see another car i like cus i just wanna see what its got. even if i get smoked i just love the feeling of driving next to/behind/around other nice cars

All of u who are complaining clearly DO NOT live ur lives a quarter mile at a time

If i had a nickel for everytime some tard in a civic, VW, mustang, or SRT Neon tried to "race" me, id have no problem buying my 20g setup tomorrow.

Look, im one of those people who is down to have some fun, maybe even a little race just for kicks, but only when the road is clear and the speed limit is decently high. Half the ****ing morons who do this **** do it in or around towns ad other residential areas..... that is just stupid and dangerous, and completely unnecessary. Its all about time and place, and there's plenty of good times to do it. So i really have no clue why people still like to do retarded **** i the worst possible places. Nobody else should be at risk other than those involved by choice.

I'm lucky, i almost never get the meaningless revs but have gotten a few escp in the last 2 months. Also, most the ricers(and yes these cars are every type of definition of rice) just go past without anything dumb going on besides one or two times.

I was on a lunch run earlier today for work. Just crusing with my top down(lovely weather today) when a kid in a red cobalt (non turbo/supercharged) decided he wanted to get a little husky. I dont mind a race every now and again but not in town or on the highway (unless vacant) and especially in a school zone. Well anyway he pulls up next to me and starts yelling something....it sounded like "rich p**sy" i pay him no attention so he proceeds to floor it and literally cuts me off by about 2 feet then brake checks me forcing me to slam on my brakes( over compensated alittle but he startled me) needless to say this pissed me off so i floored to catch up to him, Im pretty sure he saw me in his mirror cause then he proceeded to do another unlaw/very unsafe thing pulls a u turn in the middle of the street with traffic coming. He got away, I would have loved to give him a peace of my mind and a fist or two. But I did get his plate so the second i got a chance to pull over i called the cops. Now usually id never do that cause i drive like a dbag to sometimes, im sure youve all had your moments too. But him putting all those people in danger he needs to be reprimanded.

Sorry so long, still fuming a bit.

Well today on rt 70 I passed by this nice looking black GTI or R32 (I dunno) with stretched tires and a great looking setup. Cool.

He took the Park Blvd whereas I took Brace onto 70. So later on Rt 70 I see him up ahead, but now he's weaving through traffic, cutting people off without turn signals. That's one of my biggest pet peeves. I admit I drive aggressively every now and then, but I always use my signal and don't cut into spaces that leave you inches away from hitting the car behind you. It doesn't matter if you can fit. If the driver behind you isn't expecting it (which they aren't since there is no turn signal) and they stomp on the brakes you can cause an accident for them.

But that has nothing to do with my presence since I doubt he saw me. It was just him driving like a D-bag.

Totally agree with u, only difference is that Id call the cops and say I was just carjacked at gunpoint and he sped off i my red cobalt. Nothing like a cop's gun in his face to teach him never to do that **** again.

Same. I've had my car for almost 2 years and aside from a few ricer flybys I've never had anyone actually try to race me. I'm kinda surprised considering my car is loud as hell and bright red with go fast stripes and a hood scoop

It's because your car is loud and people assume it's too fast to mess with

Remember, loud=fast to the every day ricer.

That's why 3 inch fartcans were invented! I had a blacked out altima try to race me on saturday night with my friends in the car at a redlight. He lurched ahead in all of his tire sqeauling might and "sped" off. We were all laughing our asses off.

But it's a mustang, and every ricer knows that they're slow as **** and are even worse at turning

You make it sound like you're talking at a drag strip, but since your ndubz, you must be talking about a school zone

I had a guy on a motorcycle rev his bike and was pointing forward. I just waved, and stuck with going 55 on 22. 100 feet up there was a statie.

The black CRX following him was mighty nice though.

i tend to give a little rev at a red light just to say whats up and give a little respect to a nice car. I do drive agresivly im sure 85% of you guys do but going through a town or neighborhood at 50 is stupid and dangerous.
