ok...now I'm pissed. I was not surprised by the Eagles releasing Westy given the current front office's track record. I actually think he should even retire, given the concussion issue.

No, what annoys me is this. Apparently they pulled the same **** they did with Tra Thomas, another loyal Eagle warrior. Westy didn't even get a ****ing PHONE CALL to let him know that he was released.

Say what you will about McNabb, all my anger towards the Eagle's shortcomings goes directly to Reid and the front office.

no, westy said he got a call from reid...he hasnt talked to banner or lurie, but andy and some other coaches talked to him before it was announced

This is strongly disagree with. Dawkins is a the scariest dude on the field no matter what team he is on. He still played to the same caliber that he did with the Eagles for the Broncos. He's that dude that WR are scared is lurking around and once they forget he puts a hurting on them.

Again with my same assessment, Eagles are going younger to save money but seem to drop coin on expensive always hurt players. It's quite mind boggling.

yes, i was rushing this morning and misread the article i got that from. What they were saying was that no one called him to say "hey, great job all these years" or "we'll miss you". I guess that was referring to banner or lurie.

i was talking about westbrook...i wanted them to keep dawk...
