Mirrors reflect infrared wavelengths....so when you take a picture of a car's side mirror you get something to this effect.

Files sizes tend to be in the range 650 - 680kb at 640 x 480. I'll have to check in the camera if I can up the resolution at all but at 640 x 480 the pictures are crystal clear.

Yea, during a storm out in NNJ we came across a downed tree on 3 phase primary in a neighborhood. The tree got up to 400-500C before the line built up enough current to make a jump to ground and blew the tree in half.
