Sweet color! I love OW.

Good call on no SLP. I love how mine sounds but whoever decided to make it modular and 5 pieces should be fired. It falls apart all the time. Ended up welding on one of the tail pipes and now the mufflers won't stay together with just clamps.

Oh and have fun installing longtubes

Not looking forward to pretty much removing the engine to do long tubes lol. I think I want the magnapack cat back.

why black gas door? its a white car! its gonna look silly. I would just get smoked headlights not blackout all the lights.. that too will look silly.

as for gears get 3.73s. My friend has it in his and its fun to drive.

Yea gears will probably be 3.73's. I had 4.10's in my vic and didn't like them too much for highway driving. And as for the black gas door...looks pretty good to me

Keep in mind, the whole "theme" will be black and white. Black wheels, tinted, blacked out lights.

That's if you have like an offroad x/hpipe with it. Then I'll agree. Dan do you drive a lot of highway? If not then go with 4.10s. I was going to do 3.73s until I said **** it, you will lose about 1-2 mpg if that.

one friend has SLP (heard it with/without bbk headers etc.) and the other with steeda. SLP is definitely awful. :P

I drive from Thorndale to the end of the bypass in Malvern every day for work, so a decent bit of highway driving.

Yeah then you definately want 3.73s. Won't hurt you with that at all. What do you think the first couple things are on the list? I know you had a huge list, but did you narrow it down to a couple things you want to get now?

BTW my mom had a 03GT and the setup was stock headers into a BBK catless xpipe, into borla catback it was by far one of the best sounds i have heard in a long while. And 1988olds can attest to that he drove it a few times before i had my license

I think longtubes is just asking for trouble

I'm sure you obviously know the difficulty of the long tubes installation, but it determines what midpipe you use, cat/less.

How much better are the HIDs?

Yea, theres few things I will pay a shop to do, but that is one of them lol. The HID's, I love them. My housings are a little ****ty, so with nice clear housings they would be even better. But I still like them anyways. Much easier to see. (I have horrible eye sight at night)

The noise becomes a definite factor, It will turn into a nascar sound in a heart beat. But the midpipe will take a major spot in this also, the install is a pain in the dick.

The sound that emanates from a mod motor with long tubes makes me party in my pants. LOL! Plus it won't be too too bad cuz I'll be running a catted shorty X. And yea **** installing them myself, I don't feel like taking my motor halfway out. At least not at home without a lift. If I had access to a lift and a shop I'd do it for sure.
