Four wheelin' fun FTW! Awesome trucks. Made me miss my lifted YJ Wrangler
Not So Subtle I'm a racist emblems.....
I get free speach and the right to express yourself... and you're probably a nice guy... that flag means different things to different people for sure.
I personally see that flag (anywhere not just you) and think "Way to keep bigotry alive and well in the USA asshole"
Just my opinion on the flag thing because I feel strongly about it.
The pics were awesome.... next time go for some video if possible

you guys are hilarious... ly stupid.

the confederate flag was never a symbol of racism or slavery. we only attribute it to that because the south lost the war.

While i too think its humorous that people wave that flag, especially in the north... its not because i immediately assume the person waving it is a racist... its because, the south lost the war and that flag should be thrown away. all it represents is a time of conflict, when a single nation wared against itself.

but, if southern folk want to raise it in reverence to their states and current life style... then so be it. but if you're a northern born and raised american... you should really feel foolish for waving it around, for you have no reason to be doing so... you have no ties to it and only do the people who do an injustice

It may NOT have been a symbol of racism at the time.
However.....
I bet if you took a poll today that (besides Dukes of Hazzard) most people would put the symbol in the RACIST catagory.

Nice pic's, I have a group of here i go offroading with but the trucks i go with seem more....prepared...

For instance i usually ride in a 2500 duramax td, with a 6" suspension lift, 2" body on some monster ass tires. That truck has 3 5" lights on the push along with a smittybilt xrc12 winch. Also has two "reverse" mounted lights on the rear bumper for night time play, Along with 4 3" led lights on both sides of the step bar

We have gone through pits coming up to the bottom of the door's without so much as a stumble, But the other trucks usually a 03 F350 with a lift has a terrible time.

just like most people would associate the swastika with racism... which would be an incorrect association.

truth of the matter is, most people associate these items with racism due to an incomplete education regarding the symbol(s)... which isn't anyone's fault but the school district.

We're up in the north... we associate it with racism because "we" won the war... apparently we were better than the south... i guess we didn't segregate blacks on buses, beat and hang blacks, force them to use different schools, water fountains, restaurants, etc up here in the north

here's a symbol of racism, bigotry and tyranny if you want to only look at it for the bad things this country has done to its own

on the same note... here is a symbol of freedom and hope, unity and strength... a symbol of a way of life everyone wants...

if you don't look at the whole picture... well, i think you get the point.

i see this:

i think of amazing southern food

unless its up around here... then i just assume the person is a redneck hill billy

I agree, the confederate flag is just part of southern culture. it has nothing to do with race and if your from the south it just shows you support your heritage and country.

I didn't come on here to start a racial battle. I'm not racist by any means. If people really want to mods just close the thread so it doesn't get into a heated debate about a subject that shouldn't be dicussed in this forum. Or ill edit out the pictures and take out the flags.

Thanks for people who posted the positive comments. There isn't too many people who mud on here so I deiceded to post up some pictures of a fun day of beating up on some trucks. If I brought the truck down south to those mud bogs I wouldn't go into them without a 20+" lift and some rockwell axles and a nasty transfer case. Its fun to play around in the pits up here because the place we go there are pits for stock, mild and wild trucks.

nothing wrong with a conversation being started.

they have classes for mud bogs. My 96 F150 with 8 inches of lift and big street tires gets threw some of them. Well, I haven't gotten stuck yet. The bigger diesel's do get stuck sometimes.

I know you didn't mean to start everything but I just don't want to get banned for starting a heated debate on here that's all. Also I don't want people to think I'm a racist asshole and be looked at differently on the forum because I'm going to be starting a big project in november and if I need advice or help I want people to post up advice.

Also on the side note I would trade in the srt because you already have a nice mustang and can get a beater 4x4 for the winter and for mudding fun.

you won't get banned for this.

my biggest problem with trading in the srt is still owing money on it.

but i've going to try to knock it down below the trade in value and see what i can do.

i want something to move **** around as well if i need to

Ya its fun to have a truck if you need to tow something around and haul something in the bed. I sold my jetta way below trade in value but I'm glad I did because that car was nothing but problems for me.

Are you kidding me? Usually your responses to things are pretty good, but this one is just awful. Where the Confederate flag or Swastika derived from doesn't matter. They could have originally been decorations for Monopoly and it still wouldn't matter. The FACT is, that the Confederate flag was used as the symbol for the Confederate army, who fought to keep slavery. The Swastika was used by the German Nazis who wanted, and came close to, exterminating the Jewish people, and many others. These 2 symbols alone, will ALWAYS represent racism and predigests for the rest of time, or as long as we live in a civilized society with history. The Swastika is BANNED in Germany, not because it derived from a group of people in India (where ever it came from I cant remember) but because of the fact that Nazis used it to represent themselves. I honestly think, if two of the biggest wars of all time don't pop into your head when you see those symbols, than you yourself are uneducated. You think of food when you see the Confederate flag? Seriously...

On a more positive note, I'm not bashing your trucks or anything. They are pretty cool.. My first car ever was a lifted Cherokee and I still post on the Jeep Forums regularly. I just don't see how someone can say they are not the slightest bit racist but roll around with that waving around on their car. You obviously know its bad since the first thing you said was that you barely ever put it on.

I know what it represents. I'm not racist but I have equal hate for someone who does something wrong, acts immature, or anything along those lines. It doesn't matter if they are black, white, green, blue, red whatever. I have many friends that are african american, white, hispanic, asain, middle eatern, german, etc. I support a culture, even tho I didn't grow up down there doesn't mean I can't support it. So your saying since I'm from CT I can't support the dallas cowboy since I didn't grow up in that state? Or that if I grew up catholic I can't support judeism? Everyone has their views on many different subjects and I respect your views on the subject and don't bash them in anyways.

Dude give it a break already leave the guy alone everyone is allowed to have there own opinion. The confederate flag does not mean that you are racist and or want slavery back. Some people on this site i think are here just to start fights on the internet. On a positve note sweet pics man and nice truck good to see a powerstroke getting the job done!
