Santa was nice to me this Christmas and had the elves build me some BC BR coilovers. They aren't the best CO for my car, but I can't spend 1900 for RCEs. Plus, I will only be doing autox on the BCs, so I doubt I will overheat them on course. I got them for dirt cheap too which is the best part.
I also got a GoPro HD Motorsports Hero so I'll be taking some videos of my runs. Here's a quick vid I took driving around my development: http://vimeo.com/8385123

I got in my first autox of 2010 under my belt down at NJMP. That was some smooooth tarmac.
I finally got to really test my GoPro HD. It was originally shot at 1080p @ 30 fps. It loses quite of bit of quality from streaming and reformatting but it still looks pretty good. Here's a bumper cam video of my top run of the day: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nCgWbQ1GTVk snapped this quick cellphone pic of a couple of the Scoobs there:

I installed my coilovers and went up to R/T Tuning in Lansdale for a performance alignment and corner balance. It feels like a whole new car. I never thought my Legacy would handle this well.
I guess it's time to start saving up for that AP Racing BBK.

Installed Whiteline adjustable sways and Kartboy endlinks yesterday...the car feels amazing. It's completely different than stock (obviously). I'm not afraid to push it around corners anymore.

I got tired of getting my ass kicked by Ciotti in autox, so I picked up some Star Specs in 245/40/18 and painted my SSRs black to go along with the new rubber...not that the black has anything to do with performance...well maybe it's intimidating. So hopefully now I can at least be somewhat competitive with him.
![]() initial impression is that they are a lot grippier than the Kuhmo SPTs I used to run...I've been running them around the streets to get them broken in a bit more. I haven't driven them hard in the rain yet but I hear they are great.

Just a couple updates. I got Continental DWSs put on my "winter wheels". They've been a nice, comfortable tire so far. I can't say if the S in DWS lives up to its name yet, hopefully it does.
Also, I did a magnificent clutch burning launch during the last SJR/NJMP autox 2 weeks ago, which signaled the end of my Spec Stg 2 clutch. I ordered a Spec Stg 2+ clutch and the replacement friction surface for my Spec LWFW from JSCSpeed. I was going to put the stock LGT flywheel back in, but it's $550. No thank you. The Spec replacement plate was 1/6th of that cost. Oh and I put on a Grimmspeed turbo heatshield. It was bothering me that I was without one since my Cobb HS broke.

Nah. The sidewalls are way too soft for motorsports. I'd run the Z1s, but I probably won't be at the next event anyways. I'm putting in the new clutch after Xmas and I don't think I'll have enough miles on it before the event.
Thanks! I have a lot of fun with it. There are some really fast LGTs that regularly race with NNJR.

Well, it's been a long three months of not driving my car, but it's finally up and running! Longest clutch job ever!
There were so many time consuming issues, including Spec labeling the orientation of my clutch disc backwards (which meant I had to yank everything again ), a bad slave, and getting the run around on a couple flywheel bolts that apparently only one retailer in the country has.Not to mention I bought a house and went on vacation in the midst of all this. lol But the good news is that it's up and running now. The bad news is when I went to move the GTO back in the garage it had a nasty top end tap. We think it was just a sticky lifter as the sound went away it idled for a bit. Keepin my fingers crossed on that one!
