This is why you don't co-sign for ****. My sis did it for her ex, and the car was out front of her house one morning with the keys in her mailbox, and the loan on her.

Push out more money fro a lawyer and hopefully that could help things move along a little better-

Is there no police report of the accident with his name on it?

Agreed, women are naturally liars and of course every guy just assumes that the girl's ex-bf is always a douche. It isn't like chicks are going to sit around and tell good stories about their ex. on another note, i never understood why people bring personal **** like this on internet forums... if my problem solving skills were lacking to the point where i had to ask a bunch of people i dont know for serious advice, i would buy that mulcher in the FS section and jump into it head first.

Honestly you really only have two options; pay the loan or have the bank repo the car-- if you don't do either your girlfriend's credit will end up being ruined
