i agree with the comments about a daily driver, or just suck it up Matt and walk to the garage on nice days...def not worth it to sell it...but I def would not park it on a busy city street either!

Sell ur home in boston. Cars over everything!!!

or just swing the 360/month

sell ur car

or let it get buried.

a few options it all depends how much u "must" keep ur evo. If it were me, id make sacrifices and go for the parking garage. but do what u think is the best mix of what u want to do and what would be smart to do.

you don't need a daily driver, you have an EVO, it was built to be driven in any kind of weather... use it for what it was built for! Get back on the stock suspension and get a set of stock Enkies (with really good all season tires or just get blizzack's if you want) if you're really worried about it and stop the whining. you can switch back to your pretty wheels when winter is over.

I bought my EVO in MA and spent about 3 years up there so I know all about the roads and weather, they aren't that bad especially if you have the right tires. Don't worry, nothing will happen to your car unless you let someone else drive it.

even if i get a beater i still need somewhere to park it. my idea now is to get coilovers and raise the sh*t out of it for the winter, im still concerned with street parking though. i must have heard 10 horror stories about plows taking cars out just standing in line to get my neighborhood sticker.

reading comprehension dominates a lot of you too. i have stock wheels and tires. its not snow driving im concerned with, its leaving my car exposed to being hit ect. the weather is the least of my issues. ive been through this before in philly. if someone hit your 240/civic/ect youd be pissed too

and pete, trust me if i could have afforded a place with a garage i would have. just to give you an idea of parking in boston, an outdoor space recently sold for 300k. its outdoors and uncovered.

Coilovers and snow tires for the winter. Look harder for parking Mat. I have a bunch of friends that rent parking in Boston in the 200-250/mo range. It's out there...just wait for the deal to come up. Till then, i'll store your car.

seriously?

you're worried about digging a car out of a foot of snow from being plowed in... any car is going to be a pain in the ass to deal with in boston in winter.

its sad seeing an owner of a rally car worrying about bad weather b/c they've turned it into a show car by lowering it and can't use it to its actual potential. get some stock suspension on it and stop being a bitch

One of my reasons for moving to Hackensack. Got my spot and I pay my neighbor a whooping $50 for his.

Keep the rest at my office where I have 15 empty spots.

Obviously don't miss Manhattan much.

$220 for a spot!? I'd rather pay $90 for a garage, lol.

Really not looking that hard.

Indoor spots in Boston

None are $300k outdoor spots.

Shepis when I paid $220 that was in Manhattan(really good deal there) and it was in a parking garage.

That's a little more reasonable. I know Manhattan is an extremely richy area, but I thought it was strictly a spot. I was going to say..
