Best experience would have to be a 13 yr old girl in Apenace El Salvador who had a mini stroke and was paralyzed on the right side. She was never brought to a doctor and just assumed that she could never regain control of her hand again. Wellllll I took a hold of her wrist and physically manipulated the tendons in her wrist to flex her fingers. The look on her and her mothers faces when her fingers wiggled for the first time in two years was priceless. I then explained about physical therapy and practice and how she could regain most of her motor function. Practica, Practica, practica.

Worst would have to be a young family in the mountains of salvador. They couldnt afford any meat so their diets were made up of only fruits and veggies. They had a 8 yr old son with severe vitamin and mineral defficencies to the point where his joints had locked in position and he was unable to move at all. His father had to physically carry him around. It sucked because there was nothing that could be done. All I could do was give them 4 bottles of multi vitamins for the rest of the fmaily and warn them about a balanced diet. Something they had never heard of before. The father was so grateful that he gave us a chicken. Literally, a live chicken.

Worst food, Bull testicle soup for breakfast.

Best food, hands down was BBQ iguana!

Thanks guys. Only down side is that now the GF says that Im not the same person. Shes right. I get gurious when I see people wasting stuff and I get worked the F up when I see these rich people in church who throw $5 in the offering plate and then hop in their benz after service.

but rightly so, as a privileged area we probably should do more. When I was in high school I went with habitat for humanity to hawaii. I originally went to enjoy myself there for cheap. But really learned to appreciate what I have, even if it is less than others in my area. Cause no matter how bad I think I have it, like 98% of the world has it worse.
