haha... i was searching for this thread (but couldn't find it) to say the exact same thing. COMPLETELY wrong. lol. Bisping is a huge underachiever. You could see it coming, it was just a matter of time. He kept circling to his left...right into Hendo's right hook. Dumbass. :D

EDIT: Oops, Hendo just lost a decision to Wandi, not KO. Though he did later KO Wandi.

Other than that though, no major surprises on the card, right? Everyone thought Lesnar, GSP, and Fitch would win pretty much.

I wasn't suprised at Brock beating Mir at all, I was just surprised at how dominate Brock was in this fight. Just basically held Mir in place, and pounded away.

hes from south dakota, its all farm kids out there. they are all huge not huge like him but they all have husky frames, he just turned his into a body building frame. its a lot easier to get that big without steriods then you think.

Carwin will give him a run for his $ if they meet up. If not, we'll have to wait for Fedor.

nah, carwin can stand with the best of them. All Brock has is that big right hand. If carwin can stay away from that, and counter, he can hold his own. Itll def be tough, but this is MMA, every fight is tough. Carwin or Valazquez can hold there own on Brock. You guys seem to forget that a way undersized , over aged Randy Couture stood with him for awhile. Carwin or Val will get there shot.

haha i was there for the couture fight and brock dominated the whole fight, he didnt stand with brock. brock threw him around like a rag doll. and you also have to remember that coture has what 70+ mma fights under his belt? lol i know 70 is an exaggeration

Yea i know he had no chance, but my point is he lasted 2 rounds. Carwin is alot bigger, better then brock on the ground, and is just as good as brock standing. And randy held his own in the first round.

UFC has a pretty strict policy on HGH, and steriods and such. Ask Chris Leben about it.

Lesnar CAN be KO'd, but its going to take a damn good strike to do it.

I won't say Carwin is better on the ground. Both aren't the most technical standing, but it could turn into a BIG slugfest.

I see Brock beating Carwin honestly, Brock's speed and conditioning will play into a bigger role though this time, instead of strength alone.

Seriously! I hate Lesnar. Mir is 100% a better fighter, but there really isn't much you can do as far as skill is concerned when you're out weighed and powered by a man 25lbs more than you. For one, Lesnar's normal weight is 295 all sauced up. You can see from his WWE days how much more schredded and bigger he really was. First fight Mir got him with skill, but even then Lesnar had been pounding him for a while. Idk, I was upset to see Mir lose since he's my favorite, so I guess that's where this post comes from haha.

Carwin is listed at 6'3" 260... same as or smaller than Lesnar. Lesnar was a collegiate wrestling champion. Brock isn't great in standup, but he will take you down and pound you... its inevitable.

I would like to see lesnar against that big giant Brazilian heavyweight, he has a belt in either Strikeforce or one of the other organizations. He's actually taller than brock, he looks like a gorilla. ANd he has decent jiu jitsu. I really think the only way to beat lesnar is to actually roll on the ground w/ him, and catch him in a submission..

Guess not. :D that is the obvious answer though, right, you are right and I obviously have no idea what I'm talking about... ROFL..

I've give you 2-1 odds on Carwin if he ever fights Lesnar.

they have different styles. Mir is def more technically skilled. Unfortunately that doesn't always win u the fight.... and the only thing that matters is who wins the fight.

Royce gracie defeated guys who were more than 50-75lbs. heavier than himself....

I am not a Lesnar fan either, but I now admit that he is truly a force to be reckoned with. Besides his obvious size and strength, he is a bit crazy, and you know he won't be scared of anyone. I think Mir was a bit scared going into the fight. Mir only got lucky to win the first fight. Lesnar escapes the toe hold and he pounds the crap out of Mir in that one too.

I have a bit of a bone to pick with that picture. Brock is probably one of the best wrestlers in UFC, second to only guys like Couture and Henderson. To say he is unskilled just isn't fair. D1 HW champ, 3 time D1 All-American. He can wrestle, and is using that to transisition into MMA.

And, Mir might be a great fighter, but obviously, he wasn't the better fighter this time. Brock is getting more and more adjusted to the MMA game, and starting to work on things that are naturally going to come to him.

Mir's skills did get him the submission in the first fight, he caught Brock, and tapped him. Brock also didn't look like he had a CLUE on how to really compete in the sport. 5 fights in, he has taken the time to learn.

Yes, he is big, yes he is strong, yes he is a raving lunitic, but guess what folks, he is the champion, and it could remain that way for some time.
