I understand. Whatever works for you is what you should stick to. No use trying to conform to something that doesn't work for you. That's how people end up depressed or going crazy and going for a high score at a local college.

Yeah, absolutely. My scores on the same hardware went from 5.9 to what you see now in the proc, memory, video side as soon as I started using W7 RC.

Unfortuneately, any time I take a screenshot of my vista, my res is apparently too damn big and the fact I have 2 screens really screws everything up.

This is fairly pointless. The 5.9 rating is meaningless, they never updated it since Vista came out, and the 5.9 then was already attainable pretty easily. Hell, I got a 2.9 on a P4 @2.4GHz, with 2GB of RAM, and a 6800XT. Not a fast PC, at all.

That said, a 5.3, my hard drives are slow as hell.

Fairly certain my computer is high in all marks other than ram. Then CPU (since my CPU is old and only a 3800).

But I see what you're saying.

I'll just post up my stats:
-3800 X2
-Radeon 4650 HD 1gig GDDR3
-2gig ram 333mhz (I think)
-1.5TB SATA 3.0gb/s HDD

All nicely accompanied by far too much CFM.

It looks like you don't read. I was never interested in the aggregate score. I am interested in the individual scores. That's why I posted a screenshot.

If you think it's pointless then don't waste the bandwidth and just don't post. But, you did, so I am wondering why.

It measures the timings on the memory, not the size. Plus, Vista is capped at 5.9 for everything.
