ka vs sr20 which one?

yeah this is my only daily right now thanks for all the input, im really leaning toward the ka now, i think im gonna start looking for a used one, or im just gonna get a cheap daily and start tearing apart my motor.

Good stuff and I agree. Get a KA long block and pull it apart and build it pay check to pay check. Do the 5-speed swap in the mean time (not that hard and many on here would love to help).

SR's are great engines no doubt. KA is underated though but slowly and surely getting the respect they deserve.

The way I see it, the SR is the better quick fix. It will be in the same price range, but you can get a decent one, and swap it within a week. The ka-t will need to be built properly beforehand, but it will be better if not equal to the SR depending on what turbo, parts, etc you use. Or you can just go RB, lol.

KAs are as old as SRs. I really hate when people use that argument because there are SRs that are newer than the newest KAs. I have an S14 SR which is newer than most KAs out there...
