Stiff by Mary Roach- Hysterical look at what human cadavers that have donated themselves to science wind up doing with themselves. A great, educational, and very, very funny read.

Anything Chuck Palahinuk, or Stephen King is win, especially if you can catch either of their early works, or King's pseudonym, Bachman. Everything mentioned in this thread is pretty awesome, especially Vonnegut's stuff. Get crackin'.

I quite enjoyed The Princess Bride, it's actually quite a bit more satyric and interesting than the movie is.

Kitchen Confidential, the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series, there are plenty of good books out there, I just never have the time to read any.

I liked the the Hitchhikers Guide books in the beggining but i got tired of them pretty quickly, still some really funny stuff in there though.
