Brake pads have come in...
Headers have been picked up and brought home... Next 3 things to buy are exhaust gaskets, nitrous kit, and a Vararam intake

Nice car man. What headers and nitrous kid did you go with? I haven't heard too many good reviews of that vararam. I have a volant CAI, performs and sounds great.

I got Kooks 1 7/8s LTs (catless) and for nitrous I am buying a Dynotune corvette kit and a Harris Speedworks MicroEdge to control it.

Very nice, your car is gonna fly!! The gto is gonna be slow for a while. Building a motor on the side now, forged 427, trickflow 255 heads and just ordered 2 67mm snails last week. Still a lot of work to go

Well I did 2 track days this weekend. EMRA at New Jersey Motorsports Park Thunderbolt course for time trials and then Pocono Raceway North course with PDA for an HPDE event.
The car did very well, passed a lot of other cars, got passed very little. Didn't have ANY problems other than finally boiling the Motul RBF 600 fluid in the last session at pocono sunday (which I'm sorta proud of... Boiling a DOT4 fluid means youre trying ya know?). I gotta swap out the fluid again tho now. I had a blast tho both days and learned a TON from 3 very AWESOME instructors!! ROAD COURSE DAYS > * PICS TO COME in the next day or so (I have 200+ to sift thru).

NEWS UPDATE 6/15...
Parts currently sitting on my basement floor... -Clear Corners with JW-Motoring switchback LEDs and hyperflash fix Info on those here -Kooks 1 7/8 Long tube headers and x-pipe/midpipes -Z06 titanium catback exhaust -Pioneer Premier AVIC-F90BT Parts on order... -Double-D mods Double DIN bezel for C5 corvette (3-4 weeks backorder... will delay the install of my Pioneer headunit listed above) -Vararam Intake system with powerduct -Porter-Cable 7424 and a ton of assorted detailing supplies Shortly... -Harris Speedworks MicroEDGE controller - A very cool item, I recommend anyone interested in nitrous look into this - Info Here -DynoTune Nitrous kit for 150 wet shot -Corvette Cigarette lighter nitrous interface - Also very cool - Read about it here Upcoming.... -Headers/Exhuast and Vararam should be going on SATURDAY (with some install pics of course) -Hopefully then we'll be doing a full detail as well to get some scratches and blemishes out of the car (as well as my civic - which is for sale so it needs to be cleaned up a bit) as well as just clean it up (it's had 7500 miles put on it in the last 3 months). -Nitrous install and a dyno tune after that -And then ... hopefully a full stereo install with some new speakers and a sub (which has yet to be bought).

![]() Well... the nitrous will get me close to 500whp on the street (obviously not on road course - they don't allow it) and drag... until I get a new intake manifold and heads/cam package (which will be a while til I get it - and even when I do I'll keep the nitrous so I have 630-650whp on tap). Local cars have about an average of 600whp - So I'd like to at least be able to 'keep up' for a while haha. Not to mention we (my friends and I) have been dealing with wet nitrous kits for a while, we shouldn't have issues. But thanks man ... feel free to give suggestions, or add anything else.

I think they'd notice an extra 150whp out of nowhere ;)

Well the headers are on and the car sounds good.
Had an issue after breaking a coolant temp sensor. Need to fix that tomorrow morning and the car should be good to run. Here's a teaser vid... I'll have a full vid of the exhuast soon. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bOTXq7rT8z4
