-make something at home
- last resort, find food on ground.

thats pretty crazy. I dont like Outbacks appetizers. I got a blooming onion once and it tasted like I was licking a block of salt.

Yeah make something at home and carry it around from 7 in the morning til 5 in the afternoon and eat 10 hour old food.. Sandwich? Mushy and warm. Salad? Wilted lettuce and warm dressing. Chicken? Mmmm, bacteria. Sounds delicious. All I was saying is I wish I would've had a little book like this back then.

I do keep my food stored separately because I don't like my food touching, thanks. And find me an ice pack that lasts 10 hours without lugging a giant container around. Don't know why you're reading so much into it..

I used to eat fast food a fair bit but now its once a month if that. I got sick of it and now when I eat it I better drive fast to my house.

i gotta say, living here for as long as i have now, PA is disgusting when its comes to food. you guys have every imagineable chain under the sun. save for downtown philly, it seems like the majority of restaurants in this area are disgusting chains (not necessarily fast food).

with that being said, theres always something on every menu that wont kill you in the long run. you just have to be conscious of your choices. of all the BS health books, this one at least realizes that youre not going to stop eating ****ty food altogether, and gives you information on what will kill you slower.
