How about taking some personal responsibility and asking for no salt or pepper from the start. I would imagine that most dishes on the menu have either salt or pepper on them so to act like they some how misled you is a little odd.

What if you have a peanut allergy. Would you ask ahead of time if the food was cooked in peanut oil or would you wait for your throat to close up before you addressed the matter.

Also, a guy from vortex works there and/or runs the place. I'm not sure what his role is. Drives a R32.

I knew I should've taken a picture of it for proof.

If I had an allergy, it'd be a little irresponsible of me to go around ordering food without checking. Please do not compare a severe dislike of pepper to anaphylaxis. I have never once in my life had fish or seafood for that matter that was seasoned heavily in pepper.. unless it was a dish that specifically said "Black Pepper ____." Maybe I've been eating fish at weird places but it's not something I've ever encountered. This was literally maybe the second time in my life where I ordered food in general that had pepper on it and it didn't specifically say that on the menu.

While I'm talking about it, all of the fish on that menu apparently come seasoned with pepper and salt.

I don't know why but I really just pictured you jumping up and down saying that.

Point being if there something you don't want on your food, whether it's listed or not, you ask ahead of time. Not after they serve it to you. A simple "there isn't any pepper on that, right?" would have saved you the hassle.

But I guess it's just easier to blame others.

Riiiiight. I'm really not seeing your point. It's not like I walked into a diner, ordered and omelette, got it and said, "There's egg yolk in this? I wanted an egg white omelette."
