so i had my oil change done today and showed them my destroyed cam follower and explained what was going on.

i'm not covered since i'm 6k over warranty and it'll cost $1,000 to replace my intake cam lobe.


oh yeah, that doesn't include $500 for the lobe itself, $1,100 for the apr high pressure fuel pump and $60 for the cam follower

FML

going to try and send an e-mail to vw of america and see if they can cover me since it's a factory defect
