Its definitely best bang for the buck, same with the SRT4's

And if its senses the front wheels not spinning how is there NOT a way around that...They have figured just about every single thing about these cars but cant find a way around that??? that sucks.

SRT6 Crossfires were insanely expensive when they came out, like 45-50K.

I talked to Rob from Needswings.com and he said they a special (merc tuning) laptop they connect that can disable that function in the ecu when the do dyno runs.

In my car to prevent the traction control from activating on the dyno we just pull the ABS fuse so the car does not monitor the hubs for speed. I wonder if that would work in your cars?

YEP, they DID pull that fuse, there is actually two they needed to pull. Apparently shutting down at higher rpm is something in the ECU.

nice video, great car. I tried to pick one up about 3-4 years ago. Car was an 05, new(well, used b/c the dealership purchased it)... been on the lot for a year or so... they wouldn't budge below... i think it was mid 30k... 36-37k... fortunately i was able to take it out for a test drive and do some smokies in it. They wanted to much though, and the car remained there for over a year after that.

i've still got a special place in my heart for these cars since the srt track experience. I wouldn't turn one down if i found a great deal

SRT-4s are EXCELLENT power potential for the money. Problem is -- the trannies are junk. I've been through one, and number two is slowly breaking itself as we speak. Plastic synchros = bad idea.
