usually i do...it's not "spirited" if you're all laid back with one hand cruising.

I honestly have a harder time driving with two hands. Don't know what it is. I helped my grandpa drive back from Miami to Naples, which is like a 2 hours, in their rental Honda minivan thingy because GOD FORBID they actually drive their Lexuses anywhere.. well anyway, my grandparents are really paranoid, don't even let my Mom drive, but for some reason they trusted me? Anywho, they forced me to use both hands on the wheel and I felt sooo uncomfortable the whole way.

94 Integra, did you pass?

I took my first drivers test in a Ford Windstar, but practiced in an Integra. So the first time, went to the DMV in Neshanimny, failed it twice. Said **** this, not going back there. Got out of school, drove down to Dublin, heard it was easier, waited 2 minutes in line, guy got in, put his seat belt on, drove through the parking lot, parallel parked, drove back around the parking lot, made a right out of the parking lot, turned left into a police station and then made a left back in and passed.

I'm a sissy wimp and learned to drive on a car that didn't have power steering, so both hands all the time here.

I passed the test, so it can't be that hard. But then again I took it in Dublin.

One of the best things to do is show up in a manual car. I drove in the parking lot for maybe 30 seconds and he said that was all he needed to see. I thought I was ****ed because I didnt get to drive on the street. He said if a kid can come in here and drive a manual good they will have no problems

I think it really depends on the guy you get testing you and his mood on that particular day. If he's feeling like it, he'll make it hard for you. Sometimes if they're feeling nice, they'll "skip" parts of the test. I didn't get so lucky, guy was a pain, but still passed no problem. Just be conscious of what you SHOULD be doing and you're fine.

Stop a little bit before the stop sign, then pull up to see if there are any cars.
Check your blind spot before you change lanes.
Always signal

I passed my first time in a huge SUV, parallel park included. I got points taken off cuz i went into the oncoming lane in a parking lot so I could park the damn thing. Oh, and have your parents reverse park the car so it makes getting out easier.

Idk if any one has said it but the best time to schedule ur test is right before or around the time they close. IF they are behind schedule they will rush through everything and not care. When i took mine all i did was parallel park in their lot and drive straight down the street and make a U turn. I didnt have to do like a system check of all the lights and stuff like that and normally they take you around a few streets i didnt have to. so i passed it no problem
