I bought my coupe in 3/03. Blown, original owner, stockness for $600. Its been my project ever since.

I bought my hatch in 4/05. got tired of looking at my coupe sit there all the time and needed a 240 to drive already.

No pic's on the computer of when I first got them. I'll look around and scan them later.

Old.

Sold that, got out of 240's for a while.

Then I got my hatch. Was an auto, swapped to 5 speed.

Then I traded my WRX for the current 13. I'll be driving it long after the fad moves on.

I'm definitely not OG, but I've had 4 240's since I was 18. (2 years) 89 SOHC hatch, 89 LHD silvia, 95 Zenki, and now my 93 coupe.

I didn't even have my red one yet. Just my Sil80 that wound up getting cut in half in a custody battle.

I am not an OG in the fact of owning one. Got my first one in '07. However I have loved the S-Chassis for a long ass time. I remember having a ton of them in Gran Turismo 2. Yeah that's right GT2. I just loved the look of the hatch.

haha i loved them in gt2 i had a good amount of s13s and s14s the 180 was cool in that game i think im going to go play now lol... i bought my first 240 this past year finally saved enough for my kouki i will never sell it ill pass that on to my kids

I guess I would be considered a 240 OG. I bought my car in 2002 (been on zilvia since around the same time). My friend and I actually skipped the last day of school to go pick it up (rebels i know). I was looking for an b13 SE-R for a while but came across the 240 and loved it. I had always been a Z fan, but honestly didn't know much about the 240.

I did some minor mods (struts springs, short shifter, s14 seats, etc), but mainly just kept it clean in high school. Car only had 107k when i bought it, and was overall pretty clean

Did a few more mods in college and had most of the parts to turbo the ka, but unfortunately the desire to eat during the semester out weighed mods, so she went on some rough times...

starter was out for a bit...had to travel in groups and actually got pretty good at self push starting until i was able to get a starter from a friend for cheap.

Did a few more mods in school, but mainly kept it stockish...

So, fast forward to 2009...got a job, and at 210k miles the 240 was starting to get pretty tired...so i picked up its replacement. what i would consider the nissan's closest thing to the 240 (rwd, 2 dr, 4 seats)

kept the 240 around since it was still a fun car. Wasn't sure what i wanted to do with it. Finally just decided that i'm going to sell it this spring. 8 years with it and it was a lot of fun. I will really miss it. It never let me down and i definitely worked it hard (one year when i was on co-op I put 40k on it).

haha, stockish. Bunch of little stuff, z32 brakes, vlsd, s14 interior, just never anything big. I became quite poor in school and when i had the option to turbo the car or go to europe for a month and scrape together food for the semester, unfortunately the car lost. When i graduated i was close to finally throwing together a ka-t or swapping an sr, but at that point I was just ready to drive something different (aka newer).

Too many other expensive hobbies (ice hockey for one) to keep both vehicles around.

Aww man, I loved that hatch. One of my favorite Sil 80's even with the mis matched paint.
