i hear u dan. youve seen my 'work place' ... i cant even literally call it my driveway lol
theres been times when i have my 240 all apart, motor sitting next to the car, and im like WTF because theres an orange abandoned sticker on the window and i only have so many days to get it running again. talk about wanting to quit sometimes. i think if i had a nice 2 car garage to play around in, things would be a lot different. if i was smart, i would stop playing with cars for a while, and save up for my 1st house (with a garage, lulz) gotta break a few eggs to make an omlett and dan. fixing the harness damage shouldnt be too hard. just basically matching wires up and soldering back together. a harness got ate through by a pulley in the s12 a couple months ago and it wasnt so bad. i could try to help u with that. moving it into the bay is definatly another story though. id be down to help tho. ill bring my solder gun LOL Last edited by frosti108; 11-27-2008 at 02:29 AM. |

yea putting it in the engine bay requires cutting the whole harness in half, removing the fender, putting it in the engine bay, matching/soldering all the wires, reinstalling the fender, blahhh blahhh blahhh lol. A garage...would be heaven.

When it's cold out, I don't even want to wash the thing or change the oil.
But I do. Working on cars in the winter, out in the cold... blows.

Sometimes I get sick of doing car things when I am trying to help certain people. One of my buddies likes to ask me to help him with a project, and 9/10 times, its usually me alone doing all the work, then hearing him later taking all the credit. Its pretty damn annoying, since I know I have more wrench time in his car then he does.
Another one of my buddies that I normally help is really cool about it, and he does most of the work, I just help out when its a 2-man job. When I am working on a car by myself, I just get REALLY bored, and really don't want to get anything done. I guess for me, it really depends on who I am working with to get things done
