I say its his own fault for taking that pill and not some stupid "KID" that sold it to him.

I have had my fair share of friends die from stupid things but maybe it's time to re-evaluate your own life.
Asshole. This is not the time or the place for your inconsiderate antics.

^^^ as f**ked up as what he said was, i think he is right, we all hate to see people die young, esp. in such a stupid way. but he would have never got oxy if he never asked for it. personally i had more friends dying from gang violence then od-ing, but the outcome is the same, they are gone. my question is why didnt we try harder to help them when they were alive, so we dont have to be in this situation?

He didn't ask for the oxy is was given to him. The persons house we were at is a pill-head and nobody does it but him. So when he catched people alone he will try to pressure you into doing it and will give it to you for free. Hes a scumbag.

I just wrote his euology. This is so hard

WOW man, im sorry to hear about that. I dont know you, but I feel awful for you. My best friend was killed right in front of me on my birthday 2 years ago. I know how this feels.
PLEASE put a car meet together. It will make you feel better, and it will show his family how much people care for their lost son.
I'll help you plan it, and set it up too if you'de like. PM me or email me @ motorvated@gmail.com

The best thing you can do for his family is never forget him. Get those little "IN MEMORY OF" stickers and put one on your car and give them to his friends.

The family members would just like to know that people still care about him.

really sorry to hear, this is such a sad thread. sounds like he did make a bad choice but we all do that sometimes so lets not dwell on that here. the only positive way i've found to react to this type of thing is to learn from their mistake and make sure you understand how fragile life can be...

Well John, you’ve done it again. You’ve managed to make yourself the center of attention, make us laugh, cry, talk about you, enjoy you, get mad at you, smoke with you, and drink with you, and you aren’t even here.

John you are and were my best friend. You were always there for me no matter what I needed. Always there to play a game of hockey, see a movie on a boring Sunday with your free tickets, go to AC to live it up at 4am on a random weekend. You lived like there was no tomorrow. You had no fear, and I learned a lot about life and friendship because of you.

If there is anything people should take away with them today, it’s that. John made sure he lived his life to the fullest everyday. He enjoyed every minute, in his own way. We all know that he made some unwise decisions, but who doesn’t? In the last 6 months I saw a change in John. He didn’t smoke, he made smarter decisions and was excited to be working with his dad and looking forward to taking over his business. Everyday when we’d meet up, he’d tell me funny stories about his patients with all the enthusiasm he has. I almost lost my hearing a few times.

I remember when he got his first car, a Ford Mustang, he ordered speakers so big that they didn’t fit in the trunk. After spending $5,000 he was satisfied. One day he called me as he was driving by the school and said “hey can you hear me?” I was on the other side of the building, but I could hear him loud and clear. As always.

I went out with John every weekend and he always tried to pay for everything, for everyone. He wanted everyone to have as much fun as him, and I took it for granted.

I want to let people know that John was not a drug addict, he was not suicidal, and he was a good, normal kid. He just made a bad decision. We were having fun at a friend’s house and Dave and I decided to go downtown but John stayed back because he wanted to get a good night’s sleep at home. And he did.

There are too many stories like this that we can tell. Do your part so that it never happens again. More importantly, enjoy your life to the fullest, and make every second count. That’s how John would have wanted it.

John this last jager-bomb is for you.

Sorry to hear brother, I lost a couple friends to OD's in high school years ago, it's tough to understand.. but the best thing you do is to keep your head up and live your life to the fullest and fulfill your dreams, because that's what your buddy definitely wants to see his close friends do. I wish you the best of luck and hope the best for you, his other friends, and family.

/\I don't sugar coat things ...sorry.

To pinacup7:I'm sure he will be in many people’s prayers; just don't forget he will always be there over looking you and his family. So he is never really "gone" just in another realm as a spirit/guardian.
