at first...i thought it bucked a little too much at low ends...the whole "clutchless" thing...but after a few minutes...I stopped noticing it, and it made it feel more...raw I guess. Glad it wasn't built luxury like. Very nice feeling suspension. I still wish it came in classic stick shift though...there's my negative review.

Appologys. I should have worded it better, i just hate the people who talk **** on the GTR...99% of them have never been within 10' of one, or even behind the wheel.

That's the unrefined feel of some e-gear systems. My buddy's LP640 bucks a lot. It drives him nuts, but then again, these cars aren't designed to be driven at low RPMs.

i really wanted to come in here and be like...

"omfg!!!!!! who gives a ****!!!!"

but in reality... i'm a little jealous... anytime you get to drive a low production sports car that you in no way in hell could afford is a good thing

OMG, that would piss me off so much. I have spent hours and hours on low speed drivability on my hatch because I hate that low speed bucking.

Other than that, I'd love to have a go at one. They look like they are a lot of fun to drive.

I am glad you came back and gave a some what better review even though you only drove her for a short time. How was the cockpit layout IYO, seats, exhaust tone, engine noise ( i hope so)...etc. No biggy.
Lucky men!

Feels awesome behind the wheel...very tight and snug...besides the sound of the drive shafts...the exhaust sounds awesome stock. Definitely want to hear one...in person...with an after market exhaust.

1.I'm not at all going to rain on his parade. I'm glad that he is happy he drove a car that he likes.

2.There are plenty of reasons to hate this car. I'm sure owners that are paying $20k for another transmission because of warranty issues LOVE their GT-Rs to death.

3.It is indeed an incredible car in terms of performance. The performance is astounding and it finally put Japan on the supercar map.

4.For a car to be considered "the best," it has to excel in all categories; reliability included. And a car that I would consider "the best" shouldn't need $500 of transmission fluid. Performance-wise, I'd say you are indeed getting a good deal with the GT-R, however it's FAR from being "the best."

Ok fair argument, the tranny issues do suck. But Nissan will fix them asap on the ones they are building. What would be ur pick then for "the best" overall car. and i realize it is an opinion thing just lookin for some debate...
