that doesnt work anymore, i know this for a fact. My Truck is 15% and my cobra is 5%. I've never had a problem in the truck and i haven't had a problem with the Cobra in the last 3 years. I will never drive a car/truck thats not tinted out, I'm weird like that.

just stating what works for me. and as long as you have a direct note from doc and keep your sunglasses on you it shouldn't matter if you have photo sensitivity it needs to be dark the dads a cop.

Had 30% and, after a year of no problems, the first time we drove my car through Carlisle, we were stopped and ticketed ($108). Local cop said that if I was pulled over again for tint, the amount of the next ticket would be much higher. Not sure if that's completely accurate however. The cop actually saw my car stopped at a light, drove about a mile past (based on the time it took for him to turn around) and came back just to pull me over.

I had 20% on my neon for a year, no problems
I had 20% on my civic for 2 years, no problems

My friend put 20% on his altima before, got pulled over in a week
My friend put 15% on his corolla before, got pulled over within a month

Really depends where you live and how the officer is in regard to the issue.

I have 30% and was pulled over for it in Hatfield. $108 ticket. He had the light meter in his hand when he stepped out of the car. Sister was ticketed in Doylestown for 30% on her R32 VW.

areas to watch out for- jamison, upper moreland, ivyland , newtown, blue bell, oxford valley mall(yes, there is a cop that sits in there and will give tickets for tint at times) doylestown, hatfield, warminster ...drive slowly through there, open your sunroof if you have one to let more light in and get out fast...cops use the safety excuse, but the truth is its 108 dollars in their township..

I want to get 35% on my 3, but I dont want to risk getting a ticket. I visit the above listed areas quite frequently. I feel like any lighter than 35% just isnt worth it..

The percent represents the amount of light can get through the tint. So the higher the number, the lighter the tint.
