I had some kid tell ym friend on a his busa tonight he didnt wanna race because he had a boost leak... he got realy pissed when my buddy pulls out an air compressor and a ghetto boost leak checker.

Its funny because my car is pretty slow and I'm cool with that. But you know the occassionaly kids at WaWa. Well some kid was talking up a storm about how fast he was and then did a walk around of my car. As he gets around the ass end he sees GSX. He then says, "WTF is a GSX?". I said, "Turbo, AWD"? The kid says, "O, I can't race you anymore until I get this, that, and the other thing done." I just laughed and let him there to act tough to the next kid.

I dont think I'v ever challenged anyone to a race. It's allways people wanting to race me. I allways have an excuse....but then again...I allways end up racing. I'm a perfectionist. My car is never running quite as good as I'd like it to be.

I've used:

"I don't really want to because my car keeps overboosting, and I don't want to hit 19lbs on pump for a prolonger period of time"

Because my car was overboosting and I didn't want to hit 19lbs for a prolonged period of time. I left it that way for a while b/c I usually only messed around in second/part of third gear.


Finally got around to fixing the problem by filling up my methanol tank and setting the boost there anyway, because for whatever reason it never overboosts past there. Something with the WG spring I suppose

Now I'll need to use the excuse, "I don't want to race in second gear because I keep losing traction once it spools up, lets start in 3rd"

^^Get sticker tires like M&H or MT ET Streets, with less then 600whp you shouldn't have a problem hookup at speed.

i never race. at least not the neon. but i love it when i go to parties and some douche says that he smoked my car, not knowing that its mine. i dont race it cuz im sick of always dealing with traction issues. but when someone wants to race ill offer them a cougar race. then when they see it they usually puss out. i dont know why, its just as fast as the neon. i need to start hanging out with people who actually know wtf theyre talking about.
