This thread makes me miss Verizon. Everything worked fine with them.
AT&T can lick my taint!

On topic: I have ATT and my girl has Verizon. I have the same problem you (OP) have. It's frustrating as hell. She gets my pix messages in the middle of the night if I send them around 11.

For people who have the Voyager: Does anyone have problems with the phone freezing or shutting off in the middle of phone calls? My phone has been doing it for a while and I called Verizon, they sent me a new phone and it's doing the same thing. Is it a common problem or is it just me?

We should just rename this the "Problems With Verizon" thread.

I'd switch to Verizon to avoid the problem, but I love AT&T. It seems like everywhere my girlfriend's phone (Verizon) doesn't have service, I have fulls bars. I've never had a dropped call or anything. I've had to resort to using my Sprint phone to text her, which sucks. You'd think there would be standards and protocols in place to avoid these problems, but I guss with so many carriers and so many different cell technologies, problems like this are inevitable.

Maybe its because Verizon is CDMA and all the others are GSM? Maybe that could cause the delay for Verizon.

Cellular network topology type doesn't matter... the data packets are getting delayed at a different layer.
