when pulling a motor on an mr2 droppping it on a creeper (its how they say to do it) the creepers wheels all broke off so we had to drag a metal creeper across a grage floor.

we stopped labeling where the bolts came from when we pulled out the engine because were just wanted it out..... yeha a headache when we put it back in.

ok my story is about to own everyone elses. Im gonna regret telling this to the world.

I was doing a boost leak test on my car. I was running methanol at the time. The ignition was off, but the meth pump was not run off a key on power source. So everytime i boost tested past 9 lbs, i would inject meth into a non running engine. I didnt realized it was the meth pump i heard running for a while. needless to say the engine was full of a water/meth mix. When i went to start the engine, you cant compress a liquid, thus bending a rod (i guess). TWO WEEKS later it blew up. I <3 the 4G63

jesus where do i start?

i smacked myself in the forehead with a hammer when trying to break free the flange on my exhaust.

i dropped a brand new expedition off a lift at my first dealership job. (wasnt my fault, it was the lift)

i put an engine in a crv. when i was attaching the trans to the new motor, i cracked the trans case in half. had to get a new case and basically overhaul the trans, which i never did before. but somehow it actually ran when i was done. then, after the car ran, i sideswiped the old motor that was sitting outside my bay. my boss was thoroughly pissed at me.

when i was in atc, i was checking for an exhaust leak on my civic. i climbed up on the lift to start the car, jumped down and checked for the leak. after i found it i dropped the car down. however, i forgot to close the drivers side door. door came down on a metal table and ended up about 6 inches above the roof of the car.

I remember that hah

I didn't really do anything too stupid...

Other than leave my car in gear when it was rolling backwards off of a flatbed.

That wasn't smooth. I realized after it started bucking... That shouldn't do any damage right?

This one is just sad. One time i had to pop a wheel off & put a spare on. The sidewall had somehow punctured, and the guy didn't realize till later on. So i'm there, trying to free up the lug nuts these slightly bent bolts from driving miles on the rim. So what you might say. Well, i ended up having to take the sleeve off a weight bar (the kind you use with a weight bench to put lots of weight on) to put on the handle of the lug wrench (stock folding type) to increase the tq to free it up. So, the first time i try it i put my whole weight on it to just get it done, and the lug wrench slips off and i fall smacking my hand on the spare, and my face on the pavement, and get a slight "groin area" injury. Thankfully after laying flat for 10-20 minutes i regrouped and tried again. Took an hour to get that thing off. Eventually they replaced the hub end of the axle etc, but to be able to drive the car to get it fixed i had to get the spare on.

I also accidently unscrewed a lock button on a door i then had to take the door apart to get it back on.

Then there was the time i tried tapping the solenoid on a car to get it to start at like 3 am in belmar right next to the boardwalk. I didn't know anything bout cars back then, so i ended up frying the car's electronics 100 miles from the owner's house, so we were stuck there till replacement fuses arrived 3 hours later. Oddly enough they let me drive home.

A few years ago I was changing front brake pads on a friend's mom's car in their driveway and had just the front left on the jack. Forgot to turn the wheel for room and so I leaned in and turned it. Well, I forgot to pull the e-brake so when I turned the wheel it pulled forward the car a little and it slipped off the jack. Landed on the rotor and front bumper, whatever else was there. No damage was done, but it scared the **** out of us. Haha

a friend of mine and my brother just got a new car and his brakes needed to be changed, well my brother said he would change them for him as long as he paid for the brakes. My brother is trying to loosen the nuts using a wrench like this

they wouldnt budge so he decided to use his foot well anyway his foot slipped and the pointed end of the wrench ended up going through his calf and ended up having to go to the hospital and got like 14 stitches.

me I was changing the motor mounts in my 94 pontiac sunfire, forgot to support the engine loosened off the old mount and then spent about three hours trying to get it all lined up again...
