Thanks! I thought of something like that, but its kind of anticlimactic. I found him in the weeds on the edge of the woods off of Detwiler Rd...nothing really good nor romantic that I can think to pull from that.

Wholly Bat ears!! that kitten has bigger ears than my Seal linx point siamese.. Who seems to be growing into hers more now that shes 3.. thats great he has a clean bill of health.. Wait... he? She? its cute either way.. Good luck with the buddy for the other kitty!!

I'm trying to keep it. As long as my older cat can deal with it, he's her new buddy.

It has a great personality, and it keeps getting better. I can tell that every day he gets a little bit stronger and feels safe so he's starting to do dumb/crazy kitten ****...instead of just looking pitiful and starving.

He does have some big-ass ears. And paws/legs. I think he's gonna get pretty big.

Well, he made it through the weekend.

Kitty (now Salem), and his now adopted sister Diva did well. No fighting, some playing, mostly Diva eating the kitty's food, lol.

Salem is getting some weight too, you can no longer feel each individual vertabrae.

So, I think we have a successful two-cat family and he is adopted, safe and well-cared for. Much better life than he would have had if he made it outside.

How were things the first couple days? Anytime I've introduced a new cat it was damn near hate for the first 12 hours... go to bed, wake up... and they're best friends

They were ok actually.

I put the kitten in our bedroom with food, litter and his toys, then closed the door and went with the other cat. She kept trying to get in the door to see what was the deal, and reaching under and stuff so I cracked it. She pushed it open, went in, sniffed around, hissed once at him and left.

Later in the day the kitten started to try and chase her and bat around, and they seemed like they were playing.

Diva (the older car), still isn't quite herself, but she's getting there. I think she is afraid of hurting Salem or that we will be mad if she attacks him, because she is being a huge pussy. Salem will come over to harass her, and you can see she's annoyed, but she just runs away. She needs to crack him once and lay the law down, lol. Oh, and she tries to eat all of the kitten's food.

They seem to be getting along well though, but we still keep them seperated when we aren't there during the day.

I forgot how much a kitten plays at night, and how much it f's up your sleep, lol.
