ok i added Orbit to the list, dont know if anyone else wants to be added to the list. not like its a commitment or anything, but i'd like to see as many people out there as possible.
i know you're reading this saying yeah yeah he says its fun but i'm lazy or whatever and i'll probably not give this a second thought... yeah but the thing is you really should give it a second thought because i promise that you'll have a great time out there. if you love turning fast you'll love it, and if you never had any interest in it before, you will by the time the day is over. this really is an inexpensive way to really test your cars limits and your own too... its a no brainer in my mind.
ok i'm done trying to sell this, i just know i was pretty whatever about it at first or intimidated or whatever else i just was kinda lazy about getting to an autox. but now that i've been... i just wish i had known how awesome it was sooner.
over and out.

yep if your car is street legal (or in some cases not) then you are good to run. just empty it out either before hand or at the track including all gloveboxes, floor mats, and the trunk, and make sure your tires are inflated properly and your lugnuts are tight. you can find more rules at www.phillyscca.com if you want all the details but if you just want to come throw your car around a few corners then dont sweat the details and just come out and enjoy yourself.

bluengold... you dont have to be an SCCA member to race... its $35 for nonmembers. the deadline on their site is for preregistration... if you know you're going you can preregister there and it will just save you a little trouble the morning of. if you dont preregister you can absolutely sign up the day of the event. just make sure to get there plenty early because once they get started things really move along. you'll need to leave time to get your tire pressures set, inspect your car, pull all the junk out of it, etc etc, and also to go sign up and pay and put your numbers on your car and all of that.
i'll add you and tehwagon to the list

i'm pretty sure they run these in the rain as well, which would make it that much more interesting. however there's no way i'd be competitive if the ground is wet because wow my tires are bald. i'm actually holding out on putting new ones on for after this AutoX so i can abuse them one last time .
anyways, glad to see some more interest, i'll add you guys to the list.
and raven... come regardless of whether or not you have your new suspension bits... believe me that its much more about the driver than the car. really doesnt matter if you have a VW bus out there... if you can push it to its limit then you're going to get serious respect from the other guys.
