Gotta be honest, its pretty slow, but slow cars can be a lot of fun, its more than just the engine.

I dont remember who, but there was a mag that rated it the #1 fun to drive car of 2007?? under $15,000 or something similar

they werent made to be fast...they have 105hp. lol, i got mine for gas mileage, and thats what theyre for. dont get me wrong a buddy of mine took one to the track and went 16.3, thats faster than a stock 7th gen civic and the fit handles very 10 million times better.

She has an automatic Tiburon...it's not like she's snapping her neck with blistering speed. But she hated her Elantra gt w/ 140 hp and always talks about how much better the Tib is. You see where my concern is coming from? I don't know, she's never goes to the track and doesn't street race... but she cares about being able to go fast.

haha girls are crazy ;)

She'll probably get tired of the Fit unless she's flinging it around all the turns as fast as she can.

Automatic Tiburons generally run like... 18s in the quarter.

The Fit is light and nimble and geared well. I drive two 300hp cars and I thought it was fun to drive.

well the fit is 105hp and weights about 2600lbs i believe. its not neck breaking but its "fast" for what it is, it shines in handling. when it came out it was 6+ mph faster than the z06 in lane change.

I actually remember one instance at work where I came in and had to photograph a 95 miata.

For the record I have an 04 mazdaspeed miata (178 horsepower)
right after I drive a 95 miata (133 horsepower i believe)

to be honest, I had just as much fun in both, power isnt always important.

I really don't know what to think at this point. Her commute to work is about 3/4 of a mile at most and it's got 2 turns, one out of our place and one into her work. I guess she's just gonna have to do what's best for her and I can use this as ammo for my return to Subaru land shortly?

I just found out the Fit is an 08 w/ 22 miles on it... that makes the deal a little better.

She just put the down payment on it. Tomorrow Avantegal will have an 08 Honda Fit 5speed w/ the sport package in black. I get stock Fit rims to put on the Si and she gets Cleanneons old 17s. Everyone goes home happy...I think.

The inks never dry until you leave the dealership in the car.

WOW, she signed the paperwork and was walking out to her Tiburon(to go swap the wheels) and her Fit is being driven off the lot by someone else. Turns out the used car sales guy had been working someone else on her new fit, now she has to wait a week or two for another one to come in.

You have no idea...that guy could sell a ketchup sandwich to a guy in white gloves... or however that line goes. Seriously he's a used car salesman at heart.

haha. he is a really quick and witty thinker.

But I'd def not go back to that dealer... I can almost promise the price will be higher in a couple weeks. Its like dangling a treat and taking it away... she's only going to want it more in a couple weeks...
