Ah I misunderstood your post. There where some spots at that one event where you could get close to the action, but not as close as some of use liked. Depending on how your guys run the track and set the the barricades up I don't think it will matter that much. I hope that there will be at least two spots for the media people, this way you don't get the same boring photo as the next guy.

So are there media passes available or not? I sent a email awhile ago, but haven't heard anything. I'd really like to go, but not if I have to shoot behind a fence.

I just got back from the track, finalizing all the details for the weekend.

Gates open at 10, we'll start driving as soon as possible after that. Event end at 8.

They're setting up some grandstands for us, they're bringing out the big food cart and setting up everything else.

We'll have 2 good media areas on the track where any media guys will be able to get some awesome shots. If you want to be a media guy, let me know.

The course layout is different than FD and NOPI, but it's going to be awesome. Lots of elevation change and it should be a lot of fun. I'll try and draw it out on the map later today so you guys can get an idea of it.

I will be updating the A and B group drivers list tonight, so check it out tomorrow and make sure that you are on it if you want to drive. They will be checking names at the gate and you will not be allowed to drive if you aren't on the list. We had some issues with this at the NOPI Qualifier, but those problems are worked out now.

But other than that, I'm really excited about this event. I can't wait to drive the course. This is a new layout and it should be awesome.

So get the cars ready, bring all the friends and family and whoever else you can think of and this will be the first of many sweet events to come. But we need your attendance and support to make sure that there are many more big events like this in the future.

Media passes are available. I haven't had the time to get back in touch with the people that I recieved emails from. I will be doing it later tonight. What was your name just so I can make sure that I got yours?

And any other media people, please get in touch with me, the media bunkers are in awesome spots on the course and you will be able to get a ton of good shots, so don't miss out on this.

To get a media pass the requirements aren't crazy or anything. Basically, you need to be able to take decent pictures, have a decent camera and be willing to give us copies of all the pictures you shoot and upload the pictures to the Clubloose gallery. On the gallery you can put a watermark on the pictures and you will get credit. But we also want the full size copies for future flyers and other similar uses where you will still get credit as the photographers, we just can't have a watermark on them.

That's pretty much it. So Vinny, you can get a media pass if you want. I just need your info, so just send it to me when you register for the gallery to upload those other pics and I'll get everything set up for you.

hmm...that's the thing, I'm not too good with my camera yet, nor is it up to spec compared to other photographers out there.

We could even judge the car meet and give out sweet prizes. We'll make awesome categories and the drivers can vote on the cars at the meet part of the event. Categories like best drift car that isn't driving, sweetest subaru that a drifter would drive, car most likely to get high school girls to have sex with you, car most likely to make gay guys hit on you, etc. I'm sure we'll think of some more before Saturday. So wash and wax your car and enter it in the Official Clubloose Car Show Battle Series.
