Its not going to be that great of a show, at least in my opinion. Yes, season 11 of British Top Gear is about to start soon. Anyway who cares about American Top Gear, it won't ruin the original. They are going to have an Australian Top Gear soon as well

leno would be great on this show, his knowledge and appreciation for cars would make him perfect....maybe after he retires from the tonight show next year..esp if it was a nbc show.

itd be funny if all you guys were wrong and adam carolla was like the stig and could outdrive basically anyone.

Eh, I dunno. The top gear guys were never huge car fanatics until the show, they were all writers with the exception of Tiff who I personally hated and he moved onto 5th gear.

Jay Leno doesn't want to be the host. He had been offered the spot, but he didn't take it. He actually makes some great points about the show in an interview about not taking the job. You should look it up if you care because I don't.

I think thats the whole idea of the show. Average guys point of view of super cars.

I believe the stig for the US version of Top Gear is going to be Rhys Millen. Looks to me like they need to get rid of Adam "Toyota" Carolla, and replace him with another drifter.

About the show, I do not have great expectations. How about NBC just air the british version and call it a day?

It doesn't matter to me if they air it on NBC or not, I watch it on BBC all the time.
