Last I was at Island it was the same too. $15 to race $10 to watch. Maple Grove charges even more sometimes to race depending on if there's something else going on that day.

You can get butthurt all you want about people saying your beloved Grove sucks donkey d*ck but the truth be told that track is going down hill. I have a friend that runs his car there all season long in brackets and other events as well and he's said the past 2 years track prep is getting worse and worse. I'd be downright pissed if I was him considering he's running a sub 8 second car should he have something happen due to a poorly prepped track.
Who's your friend? The track is under new management and you would be surprised. I'm not butthurt I'm just defending a track that a lot of you people think is bullsh*t. I know a lot of people with 7 second dragsters and 9 second door cars too. If you talk to anyone they are happy with our weekly bracket events. Why do you think they have a national event at our track every year and we get record breaking runs as well? Cecil county is just another run down track that is cheap because they aren't as nice of a track as Maple. Again it is all about how much it takes to run a track and also to make a profit. And why do we get easily 200 cars at our weekly bracket events compared to Cecil's probably 150 if that?

I guess there's no point into trying to explain. Most people are into Cecil.

I had no problem at maple last year but kept it over 11.49. Is it new owner this year?

Anyway you got that right. Cecil for me all the way. Hey the track is down hill

I was there with Chad and I was placed in line 5, I got 14 runs that day. My car was also fully cage and had slicks, only difference was I told the guy I ran low 12s.

Mike the track has the same owner still but the track is run under new management this year compared to last year. Lex Dudas used to run the track and bring in all sorts of grudge races and specialty races back in the day. He always asks the racers on the bracket racing days about certain opinions on certain topics. He wants to know what the racers want unlike George Case who was running it. We also got a guy from Vegas who came to our track and one of the young guys who used to do tech is now also helping run the track. They have had come a long way now and are running the track real well and a lot of the racers are happy with the direction they went. Now there is a little history for most people who don't know what it is like from the inside of the track.
