Yea, thats an LN2, aka 2200 OHV. The slowest motor that was ever optioned for that car too....

Hate to tell you man, but even boosted, your looking at 15s at best.

dont feel bad about running 18's I ran 17.8 on my sentra and my last run was 18.1 =( I was expecting to run lower 17's now I know what et I woulda ran with the cavalier since that was the car i had b4 my current sentra

ouch. i was embarrassed at the grove friday when i went as well. my clutch was acting up and then instead of hitting 4th gear i hit 2nd, and ran a 15.4

atleast i was able to drive it home. but now i got it up on jackstands to pull the trans and see whats broken...

if anything it just made me more determined to get good times out of it, unfortunatly its going to be a hard time getting her back on the road lol

im betting my nissan truck could take you as well haha

Sadly, it is real. Was done by a member on j-body.org.

As for the 3.8 s/c swap.... I say, if you can have downtime, do it. Or the 3.6l northstar that someone else is swapping in.
