Ehhhh... it's nice when it's running... but it hasn't ran since the beginning of March so... lol. Now I am just awaiting parts to come in so hopefully it can get put back together so I can salvage something of the track and event season this year.

Stock motor turbo spec-v's can dip into the 12's with ease with good tires.

I had the maxima transmission in mine so I could stay in 4th, but... never made it back to the track.

the transmissions are different i thought.....however you can gear the spec tranny to the maxima trannys final ratio.....a few guys have done this on myspecv

i wander what trans the vq swapped specs are using...if it is a maxima trans it will bolt right up.

the vq's use the regular spec trans with a maxima trans bellhousing adapter. i think thats what its called.

oh ok...from what i remember reading on myspec about the trans is that in 03 they changed the gearing or something, never really dug around for that info

No guys.. I swapped the actual maxima trans gears into my spec-v. Too bad the motor popped, that thing pulled like crazy. Built motor, big turbo, nasty gearing... blah.
