I mean absolutely no disrespect to anyone, but on a lighter note, does this pic make anyone else chuckle, or is it just me. Reminds me of those roadrunner and coyote cartoons.

Sweet, I used to want to go Special Forces in the Army but I blew out both my knees. The pictures are absolutely awesome, he should publish them in a book.

But to be a kill joy, one thing I remember hearing from the guys who I spoke with in the Army, they never put information on the internet. I would probably remove his name rank and what not. I know I might be making this into a bigger deal than it has to be, but I just think something like that shouldn't be posted for everyone to read, unless of course he doesn't care.

yeah they lost lol....

well i posted this on another forum and got this as a response on myspecv

[quote=gint]Please take these down. They are a major violation of opsec and actually can put our soldiers over there to risk. you may think that these pictures are harmless but every little bit of information they can gather about our weapons armor, out tactics etc. is information that may cause lives. Take that picture of the HMMV they can see that their last attack wasn't big enough so they will just pack a 155 shell into the ground next time. It also shows a pretty detailed photo of an anti IED device that is used. I would not be saying this if it wasn't true. A good amount of the photos if posted on a web blog/forum by soldiers could result in punishment...please take them down.

so on that thread i deleted all the pictures i posted.....ill leave the ones i posted in the first post up but deleted a few ones that i probably shouldnt have posted......if anyone else feels this way on this forum ill delete the rest.

the pictures should be ok, but yes posting the name and rank is a violation of opsec, I don't think many of the pictures really violate opsec in that they don't tell you where the soldiers were and what not. The only ones I could see being a problem are the ones with the date on the bottom. This is what I remember being told from SF guys and what not. You could just edit out the date, and anyones face that you feel is risky.
