I have the GT35R, no HTA, and it's my daily driver. I love this turbo.

hey I got an 03 evo with a turbotrix 50trim kit with some other bolt ons and i put down 470whp and 440tq. Also my friend has a 35r and made 500whp but with my spool up time and power curve he cant beat me. We stay dead even and i love the drivability of it if i can just get the check engine light to stay off haha. Oh yeah and I ran it the first with that setup and went 11.3 at 123. Keep the car and go 50 trim.

I am sure you were running race gas or meth and with the green these numbers are easy with the same boost and gas. I'm just saying for the money the 50trim can't compare to the green in any catagory. There are Greens in the 10's any 50trims?? I not knocking your setup at all im just stating a point.

Green is 47lbs and the 50trim is 46lbs, I am not sure of TT exact flow rates but most are 46lbs so I could be wrong.

your statement doesn't really justify the power that could be made with a 50trim. being that both turbos flow about the same, the real reason why you see more fp green turbos running 10's because of the convenience and popularity of the turbo.

i was debating 50 vs 3076... hta3076 seems to be winning out. looking at peakboost and ets kits. there are a few viariances in the two of course, so i just got to decide A)if im doing it B)which will work for me

turbotrix scares me from the horror stories i have heard lately, specically about the 50trim kit.

i hate the fact in ball bearing turbos you can't rebuild, just buy another chra which is about 90% of the turbos cost

Lol @ 4500 being "laggy."

That's not laggy, it's perfect. Staying out of boost during daily driving is the best thing ever. If you want a ride in a car that spools late, I don't mind giving you a ride in my Civic. Full spool around 5000ish, it hasn't ever bothered me from day one.

My 35 was never laggy, I'd say it take you out but its apart now. Either way I would rather have a big turbo then a 50 trim or a green

CBRD has been working on some "hybrid" 50 trim turbos so you might want to wait and see what he has in the works. My Evo is still there other wise I would have let you drive it by now.

And yes, f*ck turbotrix.

35= laggy imo. im thinking my new plan is going with the hta green when it comes out, with an o2 housing, ported throttle body, better exhaust manifold, and either a sheet metal intake manifold or a ported stocker... potentually meth.
