Tell me about it.

What size housing did you get? FP also offers a service to send your existing GT3582R to them to get the HTA anti surge compressor housing and HTA wheel, that way you can run the big boy 1.06 housing they don't offer.

Looks like we will be running the same turbo, Mike.

Got the turbo through Garrett and then sent to FP.

Same deal, then...

$450, correct? What size exhaust housing? .82 or 1.06?

They just replace it with the "magic" HTA housing and wheel, which somehow spools 400 rpms or so sooner and makes more power. I love it! lol

There's actually 3 options for housings.. .63, .82, and 1.06. I chose the .82...definitely the best choice for a DD that wants to retain great top end. 1.06 is a bit excessive for a DD that wants to retain good manners IMHO.

So you're saying you started out with the .82 because when you send it to FP, the only modifications they do is to the compressor housing. They don't touch the exhaust housing, which is what I was reffering to.

I didn't list the .63 since it's really small and no one really runs it.

Yes, FP only changes the compressor wheel and cover. As for the .63 a/r housing...it's actually as popular as the .82. It spools even faster the .82 housing and can still make insane power.

Planning on taking it to the track this year?'d like to see what it runs on pump..I'm close to pulling the trigger on the buschur kit with cast manny myself, but would be nice to know it can go 120+ on pump first The first Evo vs. WRX event is in about 3 weeks or so!

Most definitely heading out to the track once I tune it. 120 traps will be easily had on pump. If you're interested in a kit I have several you can choose from ranging from cast manifold to tubular like the one I have. Hit me up when you're ready.
